What Vidu is good at
Consistency is the problem most AI video runs into the moment you need more than one shot. Vidu's reference mode is built for it: add up to seven images of a person, an object or a look, describe the scene, and Vidu keeps those elements recognisable in the result. For a recurring character in a series, a product that must stay on-brand, or a mascot, that is the difference between usable and almost.
Start to end is the other mode worth learning. Supply the first and last frame and Vidu works out the motion between them, which is ideal for transitions, before-and-after reveals and morphs. Character mode takes a single clear picture of someone and has them perform whatever you describe.

tips
Getting better results
- 01Use several reference images from different angles. Vidu keeps a face or product steadier when it has seen more than one side of it.
- 02For transitions, make the start and end frames share some composition, such as the same horizon line or subject position. The motion between them reads more naturally.
- 03Generate at 720p and upscale only the clips you keep. Upscaling is charged per second, so it's cheaper on the final cut than on every draft.
- 04If Q2 Turbo is greyed out, you're in a mode that needs Q2 Pro. Turbo only animates an image.
