What Recraft is good at
Recraft is built for design work rather than one-off pictures. Its Vector art and Icon styles return SVG files: real paths you can open in a design tool, recolour, and scale from a favicon to a billboard without a single blurry edge. That alone saves the tracing step most AI images need before they're usable in a brand.
It is also a toolbox. Vectorize turns any picture into an SVG. Remove background cuts out the subject. Inpaint changes only the area you paint, New background keeps the subject and replaces what's behind it, Variations gives you more takes on an image, and Upscale enlarges a picture either crisply or with new fine detail added.

Getting better results
- 01Ask for a limited palette in vector art. Fewer colours give cleaner shapes and a smaller SVG.
- 02For a matching icon set, keep the same wording for colours and stroke weight in every prompt and change only the subject.
- 03Already have a logo as a PNG? Vectorize it for 12 tokens instead of redrawing it.
- 04Use crisp upscale (5 tokens) to enlarge without changing the image, and creative upscale only when you want new detail added.
