What Multi-Chat is good at
Most of the time one good model is enough. Multi-Chat is for the other times: when the answer will be quoted, shipped or decided on, and you'd rather see how several models handle it than trust the first one you asked.
Type once and the prompt goes to every column. Answers appear side by side, so differences jump out: the model that caught the edge case, the one that hedged, the one that confidently got it wrong. Agreement across models is a useful signal; disagreement is an even more useful one, because it tells you exactly where to look harder.
Each column is its own conversation. Follow up with just the model whose answer you liked, close the ones you don't need, and pick which version of each model to use, for example Claude Opus 5.5 instead of Claude Auto. Multi-Chat is built for wide screens, so it runs on desktop and other large screens.

tips
Getting better results
- 01Use Multi-Chat for questions with stakes, not for every message. Six answers cost six messages, and for routine work one good model is enough.
- 02Read the disagreements first. Where models split is where the question is harder than it looks, or where one of them is guessing.
- 03Pin heavier versions only in the columns that matter. Opus 5.5 in the Claude column and Auto everywhere else gives you depth where you want it without paying for it six times.
- 04Once you have a winner, carry on in that column. Follow-ups go only to that model, so you're not paying for answers you'll ignore.
